Insights · Exhibition and event technology in Bahrain
Picture day one at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir. 10:40 in the morning. A visitor walks the aisle with a coffee in one hand and a lanyard in the other. She slows at a stand where a hologram turns a machine part in mid-air, reaches out, and the part turns with her hand. Ninety seconds later she has played, scanned a code and left her details. The stand next door had a bigger logo. She never looked at it.
An interactive exhibition stand is not a stand with a screen on it. It is a stand where every visitor has something to do, and every action is counted.

What FAIM builds inside an exhibition stand in Bahrain
FAIM is an event technology company in Bahrain. We design, build and run the interactive part of an exhibition stand: the screens, games, holograms, AR and VR, content and lead capture that turn floor space into something people use. Your stand contractor builds the walls, floor and graphics. We work alongside them on power, cabling, screen positions and sight lines, so the technology and the structure arrive as one stand.
What usually goes into an interactive booth design:
- Touchscreen kiosks and interactive walls that answer a visitor’s question in two taps, in Arabic and English. See touchscreen and kiosk apps.
- Exhibition booth games with a live leaderboard, from reaction walls to quiz games and motion games. See interactive games.
- Hologram displays with gesture control, built from your own CAD files. See holographic displays.
- AR and VR experiences for products that are too big, too dangerous or too far away to bring to the hall. See AR and VR.
- Projection mapping and LED screen content made for the exact screens on your stand. See film and content production.
- QR code lead capture with consent, written to one record per visitor, so every play becomes a lead your sales team can follow up the same day.
An exhibition stand with interactive games, not just screens
Games are the fastest way to stop an aisle. A one-minute challenge with a visible score gives people a reason to try, and the leaderboard gives the next person a reason to beat it. For Al Salam Bank we built a reaction game with custom electronics and a live leaderboard, with contact details asked after play, with consent.

Exhibition booth gamification works when the game is about your product, not just your logo. A bank can make speed and accuracy the point. A property developer can turn a masterplan into a challenge. An industrial brand can let visitors run the machine they came to see.
AR and VR on an exhibition stand
An AR VR exhibition stand earns its space when the real thing cannot be there. For Tasnee we built a working-at-height VR safety simulation on Meta Quest, and more than 200 staff went through it at a single event. For PWS at HEC Dhahran Expo, an interactive hologram let engineers inspect heavy machinery without shipping it to site: 4,187 interactions and 217 qualified leads in 72 hours.

How to measure an interactive stand
Every system we install logs what happens, offline first, so the numbers survive a dropped hall connection. What we would report at close:
- Interactions per hour, by station
- Average time spent per visitor
- Plays that turned into consented leads
- What each lead explored before leaving details
That is how a lead generation booth proves itself. Not footfall. Actions.
Timeline and on-site support in Manama and Sakhir
Interactive stand builds typically run four to six weeks from brief. The minimum build is five to ten working days from approval and advance. A member of FAIM commissions every installation and stays on site while it runs, so someone who built the system is there at 9am on opening day.

Frequently asked questions
Is FAIM an exhibition stand builder in Bahrain?
FAIM builds the interactive and technology part of the stand: screens, games, holograms, AR and VR, content and lead capture. The stand structure is built by your stand contractor, and we coordinate with them from the first drawing so power, cabling and screen positions are right.
Can you add interactive games to a stand that is already designed?
Usually, yes. A touchscreen game, a quiz or a QR phone game can fit an existing design. A reaction wall or hologram needs space and power planned early, so tell us as soon as you have a floor plan.
Do you work in Saudi Arabia as well as Bahrain?
Yes. Most of our projects are in Manama, Riyadh, Dhahran and Jubail, and we deliver across the Gulf.
What happens if the hall internet goes down?
Our systems are built offline first. The games, content and lead capture keep running and sync when the connection returns.
