Insight · Digital mirrors
A guest raises her arm in front of a tall screen and a trail of slightly delayed copies of herself follows the movement, each one fading into green. She turns to her friend, says nothing, and they both start dancing.
The short version. A photo booth gives you a picture. A digital mirror gives you a moment you made yourself, and that is the one people share.
Depth changes everything
A normal camera sees a flat rectangle. A depth-sensing camera sees how far away every part of the scene is, which means it can separate the person from the background cleanly. Once you have the person on their own, you can repeat them, stylise them or place them inside a brand world.
Leave a trail of yourself in the lab below.
Generative styles, live
MUSE, our generative portrait booth, re-imagines each visitor inside the brand’s world. VOGUE uses a high-speed robotic camera for slow-motion red-carpet clips. The digital mirror sits between the two: live, playful and shareable within seconds.

Design the share, not just the effect
The effect draws people in, but the share is what the client pays for. A short clip, a branded frame, a QR code that opens it on the guest’s phone, and consent captured before anything is stored. The capture flow follows the same rules as our reception and registration desk work.
Where it fits
Mirrors work at entrances, lounges and gala evenings, anywhere people arrive in a mood to be seen. They pair well with an MOSAIC wall that shows the best captures to the room.

Mistakes we see
- Storing footage without asking. Consent comes before capture, every time.
- Slow sharing. If the clip takes more than a few seconds to reach the phone, the moment has gone.
- Effects that hide the person. People share clips where they can still recognise themselves.
- Placing the mirror in a corridor. It needs room for people to move and an audience to watch.

- media and content production

Questions clients ask
Is guest footage stored?
Only with consent on screen, and only as long as the organiser decides. Hardware is wiped after the event.
How fast do guests get their clip?
Within seconds, through a QR code that opens it on their phone.
Does it need a dark room?
No, but controlled lighting improves depth capture. We test on site.
