Insight · Sustainable showcases
Load-out night. The stand that took two weeks to build comes down in four hours, and most of it goes straight into a container marked for disposal. The client asks, half joking, whether any of it could come to the next show.
The short version. The most sustainable stand is the one you do not have to build again. Design for reuse from the first sketch, not the last day.
Reuse is a design decision
Printed walls and custom joinery are hard to reuse. LED surfaces, frames and interactive hardware travel well, and the content on them can change completely between shows. A modular kit lets one investment carry a whole year of events. Our FORGE builds are designed to carry the technology invisibly and come apart cleanly.
Count the builds avoided below.
Screens instead of print
Every brochure that becomes a screen is paper not printed, and content that can be updated the morning of the show. The myhome SuperApp launch replaced printed explanations with a custom touch application and screen content across the stand.

Hybrid attendance
Not everyone needs to fly in. A well-produced stream with live questions lets remote guests take part properly, and an on-demand portal keeps the content working after the doors close. Our web and application development team builds both.
Measure it honestly
If sustainability is a goal, it needs numbers: builds reused, print avoided, guests attending remotely. We set those up as reporting so the claim at the end is one the organiser can stand behind.

Mistakes we see
- Deciding on reuse after the design is finished. By then the custom joinery is already drawn.
- Printing what could be a screen. Paper cannot be updated the morning of the show.
- A stream with no way to take part. Remote guests need questions and votes, not just a camera.
- Claiming savings nobody measured. Report the activity data you can stand behind.
Where it fits
- AI-powered exhibition booth
- web and application development
- FORGE: custom fabrication and builds
- ROYALE: premium touchscreen family
Questions clients ask
Does a modular stand look generic?
It does not have to. The content, finishes and interaction change completely between shows.
Can you calculate the carbon saving?
We report the activity data, such as builds reused and print avoided. A full carbon figure needs a specialist methodology.
Does hybrid attendance reduce engagement?
Not if remote guests can ask questions and vote live alongside the room.
