Web and applications

Intelligent web and application development

Every screen on a FAIM stand runs software we wrote for it. That same studio builds the applications around the event: registration portals, touchscreen apps, visitor journeys, agenda and lead systems, and the websites that carry a brand between events. Built for the Gulf, in Arabic and English, and built to keep working when the venue internet does not.

Our applications run online, offline and on a local network, with the interaction screen and output screen always separate.

The problems we solve

  • Off-the-shelf event apps make your event look like everyone else's.

We build the application for your brand, your content and your venue, from the touch interface to the admin panel.

  • The app works in the office and dies on the exhibition floor.

Every FAIM application is built to run on a local network with no internet dependency. Sync happens when the connection returns.

  • Changing one word on screen means calling the developer.

Branding, logo, colours, fonts, copy, media and layouts are all editable in an admin panel by your own team.

  • The stand collected names on a tablet and nobody can find the file.

Capture goes into a structured database with consent, timestamps and clean exports to CSV, Excel or your CRM.

  • The agency built it, the agency owns it.

The client owns the delivered assets. You get the application, the content and the data.

Why FAIM

  • Our developers and our event crew are the same company. Software is designed around what actually happens on a stand.
  • Interaction screen and output screen are always separate, so a touchscreen app also feeds the big screen behind it.
  • Arabic and English, right-to-left layouts, built in from the first screen.
  • Admin panels on every build: your team changes content without a developer.
  • We have delivered touch applications for Saudi Aramco at iktva, EXPEC and the myhome SuperApp launch, and a full website for Ria Motors.

The technical space

Every FAIM system has the same four parts. What the visitor touches, the FAIM application that runs it, what comes out, and the panel your team controls it from. Data moves along the connectors in both directions, on a local network, with no dependency on venue internet.

InterfacesTouchscreens, kiosks, tablets, phones, web.
FAIM application layerLogic, content, rules, bilingual UI, APIs.
OutputLED walls, mirror screens, badges, print, email.

How it works, step by step

  1. Discover

We map the visitor journey and the staff journey, and list every screen the event needs.

  2. Design

Wireframes, then branded interface design, in Arabic and English, reviewed on the real screen size.

  3. Build

Front end, back end, database and admin panel, with APIs where your systems need to connect.

  4. Test

Tested on the target hardware, offline, under touch and under load, before it leaves the studio.

  5. Deploy

Installed on venue hardware or hosted, with content loaded and your team trained on the admin panel.

  6. Support

On site for the event, then handover with documentation, source assets and data.

Event applications

An event application is any piece of software a visitor or a staff member touches during an event. Registration portals and check-in. Touchscreen catalogues and product explorers on the stand. Wayfinders. Agenda and session apps. Lead capture and survey tools. Games with live scoring. The control panels your team uses to run all of it.

FAIM builds these as complete applications: a user interface, a control interface, a database and an admin panel, tested as one system. Because our developers also stand on exhibition floors, the software is designed for the realities there: gloves, glare, bad Wi-Fi, a visitor who walks away halfway through, and a client who wants to change a headline ten minutes before doors.

Web development

Between events a brand still needs a front door. We design and build websites and web portals that carry the same visual standard as the stand: fast, bilingual, mobile first, and structured for search. Where it makes sense, the website and the event application share a database, so a lead captured on the stand lands in the same place as an enquiry from the website.

Who it is built for

  • Exhibitors and event owners who need registration, agenda, wayfinding and lead systems that match the brand.
  • Corporate communications teams replacing printed material with touchscreen explorers and digital catalogues.
  • Developers and showrooms that want a permanent interactive installation with a content panel their own staff can update.
  • Businesses in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia that need a bilingual website built by a team that understands the region.

Our web and application solutions

  • COMMIT: event software and platforms covering registration, agenda, access and analytics.
  • VAULT: secure data capture and lead systems for stands and events.
  • HALO: an interactive touch hub that makes a complex portfolio simple to explore.
  • COMPASS and POLARIS: wayfinding and digital navigation across totems, mobile and signage.
  • ATHENA: an AI report generator that writes the event summary from the data the applications collect.
  • CORTEX: AI-driven interactions, from chat assistants to voice hosts, built into your application.
  • VOYAGE: a gamified QR journey that runs entirely in the visitor’s phone browser.

Features

  • Custom interface design. Every screen designed for your brand, your content and the exact display it will run on.
  • Two screens by default. The interaction screen and the output screen are separate, so a kiosk can drive an LED wall behind it.
  • Admin panel on every build. Branding, copy, media, layouts, roles and content are editable without a developer.
  • Online, offline, local network. No feature on the floor depends on venue internet. Sync resumes when a connection returns.
  • Structured data capture. Consent, timestamps, validation and exports to CSV, Excel or your CRM.
  • Integrations. APIs to your CRM, email platform, registration provider or ERP where you need them.
  • Bilingual from the start. Arabic and English with right-to-left layouts, not a translation bolted on later.
  • Search-ready websites. Fast loading, clean structure, metadata and schema so the site can be found.

Technical specification

SpecFAIM standard
01Front end
Web technologies that run in a browser or as a kiosk application on Windows, Android or iPad, and Unity where 3D or motion input is involved.
02Back end
A database and API layer per project, hosted by FAIM, by the client, or on a local server on the stand.
03Admin
Role-based admin panel for content, branding, users and exports.
04Hardware
Touchscreens from 22 to 86 inches, kiosks, tablets, LED processors and mini PCs, specified per venue.
05Data
Consent-based capture, timestamped records, export to CSV, Excel or CRM, data wiped from event hardware after handover.
06Languages
Arabic and English standard; additional languages on request.
07Connectivity
Online, offline and local network. Designed so the floor never waits for the internet.
08Lead time
Minimum five to ten working days from approval and advance for a focused application. Larger platforms and websites are scoped with a real timeline at the brief.

On-site support

Software that lives on an exhibition floor is supported on that floor. We install on the venue hardware, load the final content, run the application through the full visitor journey and train your team on the admin panel before doors open. During the event a FAIM team member is on site to fix, adjust and export.

  • Installation and configuration on the target hardware.
  • Content load and client walkthrough before the event.
  • On-site technician during the event; remote support for hosted platforms.
  • Documentation, source assets and data handed over at the end.

Proof from real projects

For the Saudi Aramco myhome SuperApp launch we built the custom touch application covering every service module, three vertical device displays and the screen content across the full stand. At Aramco iktva our wayfinder apps helped visitors find their way and explore the programme. The Interactive HUB at Aramco EXPEC synced content, data and media across multiple displays with a touch-native interface. For Ria Motors we designed and developed the full website.

How a FAIM project runs

  1. Conversation. You tell us what the application has to do, who uses it and where it runs.
  2. Written scope. A scope with line-item pricing you can adjust. We do not send bundled numbers.
  3. Build. Design, development and testing on the target hardware, in Arabic and English.
  4. On site. A member of FAIM commissions and supports the installation.

The client owns the delivered assets. FAIM retains its own underlying tools, frameworks and reusable systems.

Questions clients ask

Can our own team update the content?

Yes. Every build includes an admin panel where your team changes text, media, branding and layouts without a developer.

Does it need internet on the stand?

No. Applications run on a local network. Anything that needs the internet, such as CRM sync or email, catches up when a connection is available.

Can it connect to our CRM?

Yes, through APIs. Tell us the system at the brief and we scope the integration as a line item.

Who owns the code and the data?

The client owns the delivered assets and the data. FAIM retains its own underlying tools, frameworks and reusable systems.

Do you build websites as well as event apps?

Yes. We design and develop bilingual, search-ready websites, and where useful they share a database with your event applications.
