Insights · Interactive games and gamification in Bahrain

Picture a Thursday evening at a mall activation in Manama. A queue of six people waits at a wall of lit buttons. Nobody was told to queue. They saw a name at the top of a leaderboard, someone they did not know, and decided they could beat it. Each round takes a minute. Each player leaves a score, and with their consent, a way to reach them.

Interactive games work at events because they give people a reason to stop, a reason to stay and a reason to come back. The leaderboard does the marketing.

Interactive games for exhibition stands and events in Bahrain

FAIM designs and builds custom interactive games for exhibitions, brand activations and corporate events in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Every game is branded, built for the screen or hardware it runs on, and connected to a live leaderboard and consented lead capture. The main formats:

  • Reaction games and challenge walls. Physical buttons, custom electronics and a score that updates live. Built for Al Salam Bank, see the case.
  • Touchscreen quiz and trivia games for trade shows, with questions about your product and answers that teach something.
  • Motion sensor and gesture-controlled games where visitors play with their body or hand, no controller and no tutorial.
  • QR phone games that visitors join from their own phone, so a whole crowd can play at once on one big screen.
  • Multiplayer exhibition games where two or more visitors compete side by side, which pulls a crowd faster than any single-player screen.

See all formats on the interactive games and audience engagement page.

Gamification for events that measures something

Gamification for events is more than a game on a stand. It is a scoring system that rewards the actions you care about: visiting three stations, answering a product question, registering for a demo. Every play is logged, so after the event you know which station worked, at what hour and for whom.

What we report for a gamified brand activation:

  • Plays per hour and peak times
  • Repeat players and average attempts
  • Plays that turned into consented contact details
  • Time from first play to lead

Why a custom booth game beats a rented one

A rented game shows your logo on someone else’s mechanic. A custom booth game makes your product the mechanic. The bank game is about speed and accuracy. A property game lets visitors explore a masterplan. A safety game, like the VR training we built for Tasnee, scores the right decisions under pressure. People remember what they did, and what they did was your story.

Event game development in Bahrain, start to finish

Concept, game design, software in Unity or web, custom hardware where it is needed, content, installation and on-site support all come from one studio in Bahrain. Games run offline first, so a dropped hall connection does not stop play or lose a score. A member of FAIM is on site while the game runs.

Timeline: our minimum build is five to ten working days from approval and advance. A custom physical game with electronics is an interactive stand build, which typically takes four to six weeks.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best game for an exhibition booth?

It depends on your goal and your space. Reaction and motion games pull crowds and suit open stands. Touchscreen quiz games suit smaller stands and products that need explaining. QR phone games suit stages and large audiences.

Can visitors’ details be captured through the game?

Yes, with consent. Details are asked after play, stored locally first and exported in your format at the close of the event.

Do you build games in Arabic?

Yes. Games and instructions can run in Arabic, English or both.
