Who we are
FAIM Digital W.L.L is a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain (CR 192314-1), Office 1061, Building 15, Road 3801, Block 338, Adliya, Manama. You can reach us at info@faimglobal.com or on WhatsApp at +973 3557 7062.
This policy covers faimglobal.com, including the FAIM Technology Show at faimglobal.com/tech, and the event experiences we run, such as ja.faimglobal.com.
What we collect and why
Enquiries and contact forms. Your name, company, role, email, phone number, event details and the message you choose to send. We use them to reply to you and follow up on your enquiry. They are stored in our enquiry system and sent to info@faimglobal.com.
Ask FAIM, our chat assistant. The messages you type, and your contact details if you choose to share them, so we can answer and follow up when you ask us to.
Event experiences. At events we may ask for a first name, a phone number or a portrait for a game or a photo wall, always with a consent box. Portraits on a wall are moderated, and any portrait or post can be removed on request. Phone numbers used for games are stored in hashed form for the session. QR codes and links never carry your name, phone number or photo.
Camera features. The virtual try-on and the gesture explorer process the camera image on your own device. Video frames are not sent to us and are not stored.
How the site is used. We use Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to understand which pages are used, and Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to stop spam. These services process your IP address and browser details and set cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies that the site needs to work, analytics cookies as described above, and your browser's local storage for preferences on this device, such as your enquiry list, language and caption settings. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or add you to marketing lists. We use service providers that host and run the site, email and the Google services above. If you ask us to pass your details to an exhibitor or partner, we do so only with your consent. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry or event participation and any follow-up, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Under Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018), you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@faimglobal.com and we will respond as soon as we can.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections, and access to enquiry and event data is limited to the FAIM team members who need it.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the way we handle data changes, and show the date of the latest update at the top.
