VR Safety Training App for Tasnee – Working at Height Simulation
Client: Tasnee (National Industrialisation Company)
Technology: Unity VR App | Meta Quest Headset
Focus: Immersive Safety Training – Working at Height
Transforming Safety Training with Virtual Reality
To enhance workplace safety awareness and engagement, we developed a VR safety training application for Tasnee’s annual Safety and Operational Excellence event. The experience focused on “Working at Height” one of the most critical and high‑risk activities in industrial environments.
Built with Unity and optimised for Meta Quest headsets, the interactive VR app provided employees with a realistic, hands‑on training environment. Participants could experience height‑related hazards, identify potential risks, and practice proper safety procedures—all within a safe, virtual environment.
Key Features
- Realistic industrial simulation: Fully 3D-modelled environment replicating on‑site conditions.
- Interactive learning modules: Equipment checks, harness inspections, and safe movement at elevation.
- Real‑time feedback & analytics: The system tracked decision‑making accuracy and reaction time to measure performance.
- Standalone Meta Quest deployment: Wireless setup for fast installation and effortless event operation.
Measurable Impact
The VR training hub became one of the most engaging highlights of the Tasnee event.
- Over 200 participants completed the training.
- Employees reported increased engagement and confidence in applying safety procedures.
- Tasnee’s HSE leadership praised the experience as a game‑changing step toward digital transformation in safety culture.
Outcome
The Unity‑powered VR safety app successfully combined education and innovation, demonstrating how Meta Quest VR training can revolutionise industrial learning. By bringing realistic scenarios to life, Tasnee empowered its workforce to train smarter, safer, and more effectively.
